We are now looking for a school nurse who wants to work closely with students, guardians, and staff in a meaningful and varied assignment. RESPONSIBILITIES As a school nurse, you will be employed by Älmhults Municipality and stationed at Gemöskolan, a centrally located F-6 school with approximately 250 students and 50 employees, with the principal as your supervisor. The school serves a socioeconomically challenged area, which means it has a significant compensatory mission, so it is important that you understand the cultural differences present. As a school nurse, you are a crucial part of the school's student health team. You work both health-promotingly and preventively, focusing on the holistic situation of the student. Your work is independent but also involves close collaboration with school management, counselors, special education teachers, and other professionals. Example tasks include: • Health consultations and health checks according to basic program • Vaccinations • Support in physical and mental health issues • Collaboration with guardians and external actors when needed • Participation in student health meetings and school health work We offer you meaningful work where you make a difference every day.
