Skurup Municipality is the place for a good life. JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a school nurse for Skurup Municipality, offering an independent, stimulating, and developmental role. The position involves working with students in grades F-6 and is based in two school units within Skurup, including Prästamosseskolan. Skurup's school organization is currently undergoing a reorganization that will be implemented at the start of the autumn term in 2026. The work to shape the new school organization, including the placement of school nurses, is underway in the municipality. As a school nurse, you play a significant role in promoting health and prevention, both directly with students/classes and through collaborative work at the group and organizational level. You will work closely with a school nurse colleague and be part of the school's student health team, where student health and school management collaborate cross-professionally to create the best possible conditions for students' health, development, and learning. In your role, you contribute your nursing expertise to create the best possible conditions for students' health, development, and learning. As a school nurse, you will also communicate with guardians, external healthcare providers, and authorities outside the school. Through networking, you will collaborate with other school nurses in the municipality. You are responsible for organizing and planning your own and the school doctor's reception work throughout the school year and for conducting health follow-ups, vaccinations, and open reception as part of an established basic program. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is engaged and enjoys working with children and youth. You are a licensed nurse with specialized training in child and youth care or general healthcare, and you want to be part of developing the school's student health work. Experience as a school nurse and in health promotion work with children and youth is an advantage, as well as good computer skills with experience in a documentation system. You are responsible, take initiative, have good planning and organizational skills, and are effective in communication and collaboration. We will pay special attention to your qualifications and personal attributes to ensure they complement our student health team well.
