You will be an integral part of the school's student welfare team, working collaboratively to support students' physical, mental, and emotional health. The School Nurse works to promote health, prevent illness, and detect health risks to students at The International School of Älmhult at an early stage: - Student welfare work - Preventive health care - Targeted health screening - Assessment of medical problems - Professional medical advice You will be employed at the International School and will have part of your position at Haganäs School linked to the IB program, where students often continue to high school. You will also be part of the Central Child and Student Health team in Älmhult, and in our school nurse group, you will be able to meet with school nurse colleagues regularly each week. We offer you mentorship and an introduction where you will have the opportunity to meet our organization in Älmhult Municipality in a safe manner. In Älmhult, you will also be given the opportunity for supervision and reading time during work hours. QUALIFICATIONS - Registered nurse with specialist training in district nursing or with a focus on children and youth. Those who have started their education are also welcome to apply. - Good ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Meriting: - Experience and interest in working with children and youth - Good familiarity and knowledge of documentation and medical record management A B driver's license is required as driving is part of the job.
