About the Workplace – This Is Us!
Welcome to Olsboskolan, an adapted comprehensive school in Fagersta municipality! Here, 65 students are distributed across three school units.
We are located at Norrbyvägen 12, where students studying subject areas have their instruction. At PerOls and Risbroskolan, our students who study subjects are located. The school also includes an individual program within adapted secondary school. A recreational center is also part of the school.
Your Assignment
The school leadership support/social pedagogue position is a newly established role where you will be part of the school's management team alongside the principal and overarching special education teacher. You will work closely with the principal and provide support in business development, organization, and student health issues. You also have a business-near assignment as a social pedagogue, meeting students, staff, and guardians. You will collaborate with other services such as comprehensive school, habilitation, and social services.
There is an opportunity to supplement the position with music instruction for a total employment rate of 75%.
Your Qualifications and Merits
Relevant higher education.
You should have experience in previous leadership roles. Experience working with children and youth with intellectual disabilities and autism is required. Education and experience in various conversation methodologies are mandatory. You have a solution-focused approach and a big heart for students with special needs.
Education and/or experience in music can be meritorious if interested in combining the position with some music instruction.
