As a school social worker, you play a vital role in our student health efforts. Your work involves individual students as well as collaboration with other personnel to enhance students' ability to thrive and reach their goals. Within the school's student health team, you will contribute your knowledge of psychosocial perspectives and your experience in health-promoting and preventive work at the student, group, and organizational levels. You will also be a driving representative in the school's Safety Team, which works on promoting well-being and safety through assessments, analyses, and activities at both group and school levels.
Stensholm School is a primary school (Grades F-6) located on the heights of Huskvarna Mountain. The school area is large and beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and opportunities for various activities. Here, 50 experienced and qualified teachers, alongside the student health team, service, and administration, work together to ensure that our 360 students develop as far as possible, both academically and socially. The school is characterized by a well-developed collaboration among all staff. We share a common responsibility for each student's educational journey.
We are seeking candidates with a degree in social work. You should have prior experience working with children and youth, preferably within a school setting. The role of school social worker requires you to be calm, secure, and clear. You must be good at building relationships and have an ease in collaborating with students, guardians, and other school personnel. Previous experience in a school or similar environment is advantageous.
