About the Position
We are seeking an engaged part-time librarian (20%).
You will be responsible for managing and developing the school library at Nacka Strands Gymnasium. Based on our school library plan, you will work on language development and collaborate with staff on reading promotion initiatives. You will create a safe and inclusive environment, support the school's work with democracy and values, and ensure a relevant and updated collection of books.
We are looking for someone who:
• Holds a degree in library and information science or another relevant academic qualification.
• Has experience in school libraries or other educational settings.
• Possesses high digital competence and a strong interest in literature.
• Views student participation as an essential part of the work and builds relationships with students with engagement and clarity.
• Is solution-focused, flexible, and unpretentious in working with colleagues.
The position is part-time (20%), which can be distributed over one or two days a week.
