JOB DESCRIPTION
As a School Library Developer, you will have a strategic and coordinating responsibility for the development of school library operations in Lerum's primary schools. This is a new position that offers a unique opportunity to shape and develop the school libraries, both centrally and at the unit level.
Since this position is new, you will have significant freedom and the opportunity to influence its direction, but your main responsibilities will involve ensuring that the school libraries meet national guidelines and actively contribute to students' goal achievement and the development of Media and Information Literacy (MIK).

A recent survey conducted within the municipality shows a variation among the school libraries of the different primary schools. Your assignment includes supporting the various schools based on their specific needs. You will participate in and contribute to networks for knowledge exchange and professional development. The position includes close collaboration with the municipality's 18 primary schools, other library functions, and external stakeholders.
This is a project position for the year 2026. There is a possibility for extension or transition to a permanent position, depending on the needs of the operations and the progress of the project.
