School Librarian

Stellatus was established in 2000 and is a free school in Karlstad. We have approximately 120 students and teach from preschool (beginners) through to year 6. The school is located in an inspiring environment amidst the beautiful surroundings of Rosenborg Manor in Karlstad. This environment fosters a sense of security for the children, parents, and all of us who work at the school. The school engages in a health project with a strong focus on well-being, which we call "Be Healthy." Your main responsibility will be to manage the library operations at the school. You will work in the school's library to promote students' reading, information literacy, and digital skills. Your tasks will include organizing and administering the library, teaching information retrieval and source criticism, as well as supporting both students and teachers in their educational endeavors. We are looking for a qualified librarian with a degree in library and information science or another education that the employer considers equivalent. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. The position is a permanent role with a probationary period of 15%. Start date will be agreed upon. Contact persons can primarily be reached via email.
