About this role

Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions. We work for everyone living here today and in the future. Now we are seeking you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm. Welcome to Us The Education Administration in the City of Stockholm is Sweden's largest administration with 16,000 employees. The Primary School Department is responsible for preschool classes, primary school, adapted primary school, and after-school centers in approximately 140 municipal primary schools in Stockholm. The Media Center is a unit within the Education Administration. We offer learning resources, skills development, and support to Stockholm's schools and preschools in the areas of reading and language development, natural sciences and technology, special education, digital competence, film and media, school libraries, and culture and cultural heritage in teaching. The Media Center's library group offers support in developing a well-functioning and relevant school library operation through activities such as skills development, collegiate networks, and advice to school library staff and school leaders. We also provide shared digital library services and manage two large depository libraries with children's and youth literature – the Multilingual Library and the Circulation Library. Responsibilities As a school library librarian, you have a pedagogical mission based on the city's school library plan and the school's other steering documents.
