Field Technician
We are seeking a field technician for our research service, which involves field and nursery operations with varying tasks that change with the seasons. The position primarily includes measurement, inventory, and maintenance of our research trials in the forest.
Responsibilities
• Establishing new field trials.
• Maintaining trials, such as clearing grass and brush.
• Conducting measurements in field trials.
• Collecting cuttings for grafting.
• The field trials are spread across southern and central Sweden, which often requires travel from Monday to Friday.

• Has excellent flexibility and can adapt to changing tasks and work environments.
• Is meticulous and quality-conscious, as your efforts are crucial for obtaining accurate research data.
• Has good physical fitness – the job involves many hours outdoors in forests and fields.
• Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.

Position
• Permanent full-time employment.
• Location: Uppsala
Qualifications
• Forestry or biological education, or equivalent experience.
• B driver's license (required).
• Good computer skills, preferably with experience in GIS.
• A license for brush cutters and/or chainsaws is an advantage.
