Your Responsibilities
As a strategic buyer at Saab, you will be a key player in a purchasing team with a clear business focus. You will contribute to development and delivery projects by ensuring that Saab has effective purchasing flows and sustainable agreements—both today and in the future. Skill collaborates with several business areas, offering exciting opportunities within both Saab Dynamics and Aeronautics.
In your role, you will:
• Have commercial responsibility in projects and continuously evaluate the supplier portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with Saab's purchasing strategy, policies, and procedures.
• Act as project leader for a product category towards business units as well as development and production projects.
• Analyze technical and commercial terms to define purchasing strategies.
• Participate in bidding processes and cost calculations.
• Coordinate and act as a sub-project leader in purchasing matters internally, serving as a bridge between technology, production, and business.

Your Profile
We are looking for someone who has:
• A university degree in purchasing, engineering, or economics, or equivalent documented experience.
• At least a couple of years of experience in strategic purchasing, project purchasing, and/or project management.
• A technical interest and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new areas.
• Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data management and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications for the Role:
• Experience in a similar role within the technical industry or a related field.
• Experience with purchasing and business systems, preferably IFS.
As a person, you need to be responsible and relationship-building, as the role requires the ability to drive entire projects and teams forward. Furthermore, you should have analytical skills and experience working with strategic decisions in close collaboration with colleagues and suppliers.
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the current regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, involve requirements for specific citizenship.
