Smultronställets Preschool is located in Häggvik.
We have a large, lush yard where children can explore and wonder, and where we can grow vegetables and plants together.
We operate based on the Reggio Emilia philosophy and its core principles. Key words for our operations are togetherness and participation. The position will be in one of our younger children's departments, where you will work in a co-teaching model alongside another preschool teacher and a childcare worker.
As a preschool teacher with us, you are expected to:

- Maintain a democratic approach towards both children, guardians, and colleagues.
- Be self-reflective and willing to think outside the box.

At Smultronställets Preschool, we:
- Work project-based to harness children's thoughts, questions, and hypotheses.
- Explore together in many different ways, both through aesthetic learning processes and various learning tools.
- Focus on language development to provide all children with a means of communication, whether verbal or non-verbal. Language awareness should be a common thread throughout the preschool's activities.

- Encourage children to become secure and independent individuals.
- Help them practice collaboration, negotiation, and managing their environment.
- Develop strategies that enable them to cope with setbacks and believe in their own abilities.

You should have experience working according to the Reggio Emilia philosophy and its principles.
You should be curious about and knowledgeable in exploratory and project-oriented working methods.
Possess a Swedish preschool teacher degree and preschool teacher certification.
