Kammarkollegiet serves as a capital manager, insurance company, procurement agency, and legal bureau for the state administration. Among our many assignments from parliament and government is insuring state activities. Kammarkollegiet's insurance department essentially functions as the state's insurance company, working with risk management and claims settlement for government agencies and foundations. Our operations cover insurance areas including personal, travel, operations, and vehicle insurance, totaling around 30 different insurance products. Kammarkollegiet's insurance department is located in Karlstad and has approximately 40 employees distributed across three units and a staff.
Job Description
We are now seeking two new employees to strengthen our personal injury unit.
One position involves handling personal injuries by independently conducting medical and other investigations, analyses, and assessing various types of documentation. You will request supplements via phone, email, and mail when contacting insured parties, healthcare providers, and authorities. This role includes making qualified personal injury assessments and making decisions aligned with compensation law, our insurance terms, and personal injury practice.
In the second position, you will handle claims for student and travel insurance by independently conducting investigations, analyses, assessing various documentation types, and requesting supplements. Based on the comprehensive documentation, you will make decisions in line with our insurance terms and practice. This role also includes personal injury assessments and evaluation of property and liability damages. A significant portion of our case management and communication occurs in English.

• An academic degree deemed relevant by Kammarkollegiet, preferably in social sciences
• Experience from studies or professional life where you have analyzed information and drawn independent conclusions
• Very good ability to work with digital systems and tools
• Ability to express yourself clearly and articulately in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
Practical experience as a claims adjuster is meritorious.
