About this role

About the Job As a damage assessor at Berners, you are the link between the customer, the insurance company, and the workshop. You are responsible for receiving the customer, assessing the extent of the damage, and ensuring that the right measures are planned for a smooth and efficient repair. You will work closely with our technicians, workshop manager, and insurance companies to create high customer satisfaction and a professional flow in the claims process. Your tasks will include: • Receiving customers and conducting damage assessments of passenger cars • Documentation, calculation, and photographic recording of damages • Contacting insurance companies and following up on ongoing cases • Coordination with the workshop and planning of work • Following up on customer cases and ensuring quality throughout the process About You We are looking for someone who is meticulous, customer-oriented, and enjoys interacting with customers. While technical experience is a plus, the most important thing is that you are curious and eager to learn new things, have a technical interest, demonstrate good organizational skills in your work, and possess a natural ability to establish trust. We believe you have: • Technical interest • Strong administrative skills and experience working with various IT systems • A Class B driving license • Proficient knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and contribute to a strong team Experience in a similar role within the automotive industry and knowledge of CABAS is an advantage. About the Team In our damage team, we have damage repairers, bodyworkers, customer receptionists, and back-office staff. The department's mission is to repair damages, conduct minor sheet metal work, glass repairs, and replace parts to restore the car to its original condition. We work with some of the world's leading brands in a state-of-the-art workshop with access to the latest technology. You will be part of a team with skilled and experienced colleagues who provide support and assistance in daily operations.
