Adult Psychiatric Services in Falun and Säter have a county-wide mission within adult psychiatry and are responsible for psychiatric emergency care, inpatient care, and addiction care.
Dalarna's only psychiatric emergency room is located in Säter, where you'll work with a secure and experienced team of nurses and doctors. Ward 90 has ten care beds with high staffing around the clock. Here, patients with severe psychiatric symptoms in the acute phase, requiring intensive care and monitoring, are treated. Many patients are treated under the Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act.

Care Assistant/Nursing Assistant (Temporary Position) at Adult Psychiatric Services in Säter
Job Responsibilities:
• Receive patients at the psychiatric emergency room, take standard checks, perform initial patient assessment, report to responsible nurse.
• Contribute to a safe and predictable care environment.
• Assist during physician assessments as needed.
• Participate in acute situations and help manage them calmly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other care units, relatives, and external partners.
• Oversee patients in the emergency room and be responsible for supervision.
• Be a resource and closely collaborate with wards when possible and required.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
• Degree from Healthcare and Care Program, Care and Welfare vocational package, Higher Vocational Education in Psychiatric Care (400 points) or equivalent relevant education
• Class B driver's license
