About Us
The Psychiatric Emergency Ward (PAKM) belongs to the Psychiatric Clinic at Mälaren Hospital, Eskilstuna (MSE) and collaborates with the clinic's inpatient departments, outpatient clinics, psychosis unit, and other external agencies. Licensed nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries work at the Psychiatric Emergency Ward. The work team has extensive and long professional experience.
Your Responsibilities
• Receive patients upon arrival at PAKM
• Gather patient medical history
• Participate in physician assessments
• Documentation responsibilities
• Manage internal telephone for incoming calls from various partners, such as police, social services, other MSE units
• General emergency ward tasks, including sample collection
• On-call duties include child and adolescent psychiatric cases for youth with serious mental health issues
• The work requires strong organizational skills
Your Qualifications
We are seeking a trained nursing assistant/healthcare worker.
Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as ability to take initiative, work independently, and have good collaboration skills.
Employment Type
Permanent position with start date by agreement.
Work schedule includes evening shifts and every other weekend.
