Your workplace
The Psychiatric Inpatient Care consists of a psychiatric emergency department, five care wards, and the Addiction Center, which is a residential care home.
The Psychiatric Inpatient Care is made up of approximately 190 employees from various professional backgrounds. Together, we provide care and treatment to acutely mentally ill individuals who require specialized psychiatric care, around the clock.
Our healthcare is knowledge-based and purposeful, individualized, efficient, and equitable. We work with person-centered care that is based on the individual patient's needs. Care should be provided close to the patient and on the patient's terms.
Your responsibilities
You will work in a care team where you are the contact person for one or more patients. The care team is responsible for providing good psychiatric nursing, with the involvement of patients and their relatives being crucial. You will also collaborate with doctors and other practitioners within the organization.
As a caregiver in the psychiatric emergency department, you will work in a team with a nurse and a doctor. Together with the nurse, you will be responsible for initial assessments, triage, and sample collection from patients upon their arrival at the emergency department. You will also participate in assessment interviews with doctors, as well as monitoring and caring for patients during their stay.

Your qualifications and skills
You have a degree from a nursing program, preferably with a focus on psychiatric care or another caregiver training. Alternatively, you are currently studying in a field related to care, treatment, or social work. Experience in psychiatric care is an advantage.
As a person, you are engaged in your work and attentive to the care needs of patients. You are flexible and have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and teamwork skills.
