You & Us & The Job
As a van driver at PostNord, you are invaluable. You find the way, and your job is a journey towards climate-neutral freight transport. Transportation is essential to reach all of Sweden, and we take responsibility from south to north, from rural areas to urban centers. We work purposefully to reduce our environmental impact, and you will play an important role in this by being trained in eco-driving. Together, we are working towards becoming fossil-free by 2030.
This position is a temporary employment with a full-time workload of 100%. The employment starts immediately and lasts until week 35, with a possibility of extension. Your working hours will be scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday, sometime between 06:30 and 16:30. You will be based at Bordsvägen 2 in Jönköping.
What You Will Do
- Loading, picking up, and distributing packages.
- Meeting our customers where they are, whether they are agents, private, or business customers.
Who You Are
- Curious and self-driven: A significant part of the job is done independently, but teamwork is important.
- Patient & composed: Life on the road is a mix of calm and stress. You maintain balance.
- Organized: Smart packing (think puzzle), preparation, and delivery are key. So is order and punctuality. Our customers should be able to rely on you and their shipments arriving on time.
- Physically fit: Yes, you are seated while driving, but you need to be able to exert yourself during pickups and deliveries. For this, you need to have good strength and mobility.
- Adaptable: Unplanned situations require flexibility.
- Service-oriented: Customer relationships need the right attitude and sensitivity.
- You are unique: We place great importance on your personal qualities.
What You Bring
- High school diploma.
- Class B driver's license and experience driving a car.
- Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to find solutions.
