As a van driver at PostNord, you are invaluable. You know the way, and your job is a journey towards climate-neutral freight transport. Transportation is essential to reach all of Sweden, and we take responsibility from south to north, from rural areas to cities. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact, and you will play a vital role in this by being trained in eco-friendly driving. Together, we are working towards becoming fossil-free by 2030.
Are you a student or have another job and want to work extra? This is a job for you if you are flexible, with shifts that are often scheduled on short notice. You will work between 0 and 60% of a full-time position and may be offered shifts on weekdays between 4:30 PM and 10:00 PM and on Saturdays between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM. The workplace is located at Mineralgatan 14, Helsingborg.
What You Will Do
- Loading, picking up, and distributing packages.
- Meeting our customers where they are, whether they are agents, private, or business customers.
Who You Are
- Curious and self-driven: A large part of the job is done independently, but teamwork is important.
- Patient & composed: Life on the road is a mix of calm and stress. You maintain balance.
- Organized: Smart packing (think puzzle), preparation, and delivery are key. So is order and punctuality. Our customers should be able to rely on you and their shipments arriving on time.
- Physically fit: Yes, you will be sitting during transit, but you need to be able to lift during pickups and deliveries. For this, you need to have good strength and mobility.
- Adaptable: Unplanned events require flexibility.
- Service-oriented: Customer relationships need the right attitude and approach.
- You are unique: We place great importance on your personal qualities.
What You Bring
- High school diploma
- B driver's license and experience driving a car
- Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good customer service and communication skills
- A positive attitude and the ability to find solutions
