About this role
At Leksand Sommarland, you will use your medical expertise in a scenic environment filled with joy, adventure, and community. No two days are alike – you'll encounter everything from children with scrapes to more serious accidents or medical cases requiring quick decisions.
Main Responsibilities
- Medical assessments, both independently and in consultation with other healthcare personnel
- Provide first aid and medical care for injuries or medical incidents
- Close collaboration with our lifeguards (trained in first aid)
- Contribute to a safe and professional care environment for both guests and colleagues
- Responsible for documentation and management of medical supplies
Your Profile
As a healthcare worker or nurse, you have at least 1 year of documented emergency care experience and relevant healthcare education, preferably with certification as a nursing assistant or nurse. Exceptions to certification can be made with other relevant education or experience, such as documented work with ski patrol. You are comfortable making medical assessments, both for minor injuries and in acute situations. You handle minor accidents with care and act calmly and efficiently when serious incidents occur. As a person, you are stress-resistant, structured, and enjoy working both independently and in teams. Previous experience in service, good knowledge of English and Norwegian, and a driver's license (AM/B) are advantageous.
What Can We Offer?
As a healthcare worker employed by Leksand Sommarland, you'll become part of Eventsjukvård Jämtland, which, in collaboration with Leksand Sommarland, is responsible for medical preparedness in the park. You'll be part of Leksand Sommarland's emergency team, working with engaged and positive colleagues to create a safe and secure experience for our guests.
Work hours follow park opening times, typically 10:00–18:10, seven days a week. This is a seasonal position with opportunities to influence your employment scope. The season runs between June and August. Salary and other conditions according to collective agreement with Vista-HRF, Green National Agreement.
