We are driven and motivated by the core values of Courage, Involvement, Innovative Thinking, and Action. Here, you can be part of an exciting development that makes our city even better.
We are seeking dedicated nurses who want to be part of our team where care, quality, and development are at the forefront.
We hope that you will grow and develop together with us!
Operational Description
The municipal primary healthcare system in the City of Trollhättan is a cohesive operation. Our working method is based on teamwork where we collaborate and share knowledge — together we create safe, high-quality, and close care.
The positions entail that you will primarily be connected to one of the operational areas, either residential care (SÄBO) or home healthcare. However, we actively work to assist each other across boundaries — a working method that provides both variation and opportunity for development in your professional role. Even if you work in residential care or home healthcare, our operations are centralized at one location, and we operate from Lextorpsvägen.
With us, you will work in a stimulating environment where your contribution truly makes a difference in our patients' quality of life and well-being. There are great opportunities for training and development. As an employee with us, we care about your well-being and offer wellness benefits and favorable gym memberships at several training facilities through the employee association Rabatten. We ensure you have a secure employment with various insurances in case of illness and parental leave. We also positively value internal mobility.
Job Responsibilities
The mission as a nurse in the City of Trollhättan aims to plan care for our patients, and you will be responsible for the safe adherence to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) within our operations. You will lead care based on a patient-centered perspective and are expected to educate and mentor nursing staff in patient-facing roles. As we work in teams around the patient to ensure safe and high-quality care from a holistic perspective, you will collaborate closely with other professionals.
We are in an exciting time of development and transformation to adapt to the future of care. In our developmental journey, you will play an essential role in eagerly wanting to test new methods and working approaches. We are also actively working on implementing digital working methods and security-enhancing welfare technology. Some examples of this include medication dispensing machines and online home healthcare.
Working hours during weekdays are scheduled for the daytime. You will be part of a rotating schedule where you work every fifth weekend, with both day and evening shifts. During evening and weekend work, you will serve in a unit together with the municipality's other nurses.
Qualifications
We place great value on personal qualities and seek applicants who are empathetic, confident, and attentive individuals. You have the ability to work independently but also enjoy collaborating and always strive to build trusting relationships — both with patients, their relatives, and your colleagues. In your approach to work, you are structured, responsible, and flexible regarding changes that may arise during the day. You feel a strong commitment to your work, personal development, and contributing to a positive work climate.
