Surgical Center of Southern Lapland is a clinic with a broad spectrum of operations and high competence. Within the clinic, we have a care department, outpatient clinic, operating department, emergency unit, intensive care unit, recovery unit, and helicopter operations.
We are now seeking a nurse for our care department with responsibilities for the admission unit. The admission unit is part of the surgical center's care department, where the admission nurse plays a vital role in a team consisting of nurse assistants, doctors, and physiotherapists.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nurse in the care department, you contribute to taking care of others and helping people feel better.
You will work in close collaboration with other professional categories according to the patient-centered care model. You will independently plan and perform medical care measures. We offer structured and individually tailored onboarding.
We apply the quality assurance method "Green Cross" and actively work with care development.
In the admission unit, you will work an average of two days a week. As an admission nurse, you will work in a multidisciplinary team to prepare patients for upcoming examinations and surgeries. Your role serves as a coordination function within the team. You will plan your workday and independently organize your work with the patient in focus. You should have a few years of experience as a nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS
You are a licensed nurse, preferably with a few years of experience, and have a good sense of patient needs. To succeed and thrive in this role, you need to be attentive, responsible, and flexible as you will largely be planning and leading the close patient work.
