The Role of Nurse As a nurse with us, you will work in a small team that engages with individuals suffering from severe mental illness alongside substance dependency. A significant portion of your work will take place in the participants' home environments. Central to your role will be advocating for the participants in various contexts. You will also engage with different care providers. BoP (Dependency and Mental Illness) is a collaboration between Social Services and Region Jönköping County, dedicated to serving individuals with severe mental illness and co-occurring substance dependency in outpatient settings within Jönköping Municipality. This is a permanent position with a start date to be agreed upon. Working hours are Monday to Friday during the day. Your Future Workplace The Psychiatric Clinic in Jönköping is one of the largest clinics in the county, providing both outpatient and inpatient services within specialized psychiatry. The operation comprises seven outpatient clinics and six inpatient wards, along with a psychiatric emergency department that offers urgent assessments around the clock. The clinic provides specialized psychiatric care for residents over 18 years of age. Parts of the clinic also serve as a county resource responsible for psychiatric intensive care, addiction treatment, forensic psychiatry, and emergency services, managing urgent cases within both adult and child/adolescent psychiatric clinics. In outpatient care, we focus on specialized efforts in neuropsychiatry, addiction care, psychosis treatment, general psychiatry, and psychiatric rehabilitation. If you also have further education in psychiatry and experience in psychiatric outpatient work, that is a significant plus. As the role involves travel, a valid driver's license (B category) is required. We believe you are an individual capable of working both independently and as part of a team. You see the big picture and take responsibility for your assignments. Given the variety of contexts you will be placed in, it is essential that you are flexible and can maintain composure in various situations.
