About Us Närhälsan Gullspång Healthcare Center is one of Västra Götaland Region's publicly managed healthcare centers with approximately 2,700 listed residents. We are responsive and work to ensure that each professional category feels job security. We are seeking staff for the urgent care center in Mariestad. At the Gullspång healthcare center, we have physician and nurse consultations, gynecology, elderly care, district nurse consultations, diabetes clinic, hypertension clinic, asthma/COPD clinic, child healthcare, laboratory, and mental health services. We collaborate closely with Gullspång rehabilitation, midwifery, and youth clinics. About the Position At the urgent care center in Mariestad, incoming patients are prioritized in our self-booked/walk-in clinic. Your tasks span a broad field encompassing general medical areas where you'll meet patients of all ages and situations. We work with triage and patient flows, using well-developed routines and guidelines to support you. You'll work in health promotion, advisory, and treatment roles in primary care, through both digital and in-person consultations. The work involves acute visits. You'll work independently with your own clinic, triaging, treating, and following up patients. Close collaboration occurs within the team, across professions, and with other units like emergency rooms, ambulance services, and healthcare centers. We value open communication, leveraging each other's competencies, and working without ego. About You You are a licensed nurse. Experience in primary or emergency healthcare is meritorious. We seek someone who takes initiative, is comfortable making independent decisions, and is detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. As you'll encounter many patients, you should be accommodating, attentive, and eager to help. We believe you enjoy teamwork and naturally collaborate with colleagues and other professionals. You communicate effectively verbally and in writing, are an engaged listener in both digital and in-person meetings, and are interested in digitalization and service development.
