The surgical area consists of the Urology and Vascular Surgery Department and the Urology Outpatient Clinic. In our department, we handle both emergency and elective cases. We treat patients both pre- and post-operatively, as well as for surgical and urological conditions and vascular diseases. Within our operations, we perform advanced procedures such as robotic surgery, vascular surgery on the abdominal aorta, transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TUR-B), and transurethral resection of the prostate (TUR-P).
Daily work is conducted in teams comprised of doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants. Here, we actively engage in training initiatives focused on patient safety, quality improvement, and staff development. We have a secure and stable workforce with a high level of expertise, and we benefit from each other's knowledge.

As a nurse, you will work with both emergency and elective care. Your duties will include:
You will plan, prepare, and care for patients undergoing surgery. In addition to direct patient care, you will collaborate with other staff members in developing and improving care, always focusing on the needs of the patient.

The positions involve day and evening shifts, but there is also the possibility of working solely night shifts.
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse authorized to practice in Swedish healthcare. Your proficiency in Swedish should be at least at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Experience working in an operating department and knowledge of healthcare administrative systems are advantageous for this position.
As a person, you are skilled at organizing your workday and prioritizing in emergency situations. You are diligent, secure, and stable in your work and consider patients according to their varying needs. It is important that you maintain a professional approach towards both patients and their relatives, and that you have a genuine interest in people.
