Then this might be the job for you. We are looking for a licensed nurse interested in working at Sätra Care and Nursing Home. Sätra Care and Nursing Home is a Silviahome-certified facility with 120 places, specialized in dementia, cognitive decline, and Huntington's disease. Of these places, 24 are focused on social psychiatry. We also offer day activities for people with dementia. In 2015, Sätra Care and Nursing Home received Stockholm City's Quality Award and has since continued to develop our palliative care philosophy and quality processes to become a leader in dementia care. We strive to make work both enjoyable and developmental. We are committed to doing the best possible for our residents, which we achieve through collaboration between all professionals. We Offer You will work according to a schedule spanning 12 weeks, including days, evenings, and weekends. Shifts start as early as 07:00 and end no later than 21:15. We follow EU directives requiring at least 11 hours of rest between shifts. A full-time position corresponds to 38.25 hours of work per week. As a city employee, you have the opportunity for more vacation days than legally regulated. You can also exchange vacation day supplements for additional vacation days. All city employees can receive wellness allowances. In addition to the statutory general pension, city employees also receive an occupational pension. You can decide how a certain portion of the pension will be managed. Your Role As a nurse, you are part of a team including managers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and care staff. We run a progressive care and nursing home where employee influence is significant. In collaboration with Stockholm City's Elderly Administration, we test new technology and develop innovative solutions. As a nurse at Sätra Care and Nursing Home, the work involves managing qualified tasks for users across all unit areas. As a permanent employee, you are responsible for care of approximately two departments. Your work also includes team collaboration to ensure all Sätra residents receive the healthcare they need, in close cooperation with care personnel, rehabilitation staff, doctors, and other healthcare providers such as inpatient and primary care. Your work includes preventive measures such as risk assessments and health plan development, documentation in national quality registers, deviation management, delegation, and leadership of care personnel. You will closely collaborate with doctors, regularly participate in rounds, prepare medical reviews, and perform various medical-technical tasks as needed. During evenings and weekends, you are the work leader responsible for the entire operation. You must be able to prioritize and adapt flexibly, especially in acute situations. At Sätra Care and Nursing Home, we work according to the palliative care philosophy's four cornerstones: teamwork, communication, symptom control, and next of kin support. Your Competence and Experience This position requires you to be a licensed nurse with documented work experience. You have comprehensive knowledge of laws, regulations, and ordinances. Furthermore, you have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. We value strong collaboration abilities, communication skills, pedagogical approach, and flexibility. For this position, it is meritorious if you have: - Experience in elderly care and care for persons with cognitive impairment - Psychiatric care experience - Experience/knowledge of Huntington's disease
