The Rheumatology Clinic is the only specialist unit in Dalarna for patients with rheumatic diseases and the only Osteoporosis Clinic with a bone density scanner for osteoporosis diagnostics.
We are now seeking a nurse for our Osteoporosis Clinic. Here, DXA (Dual energy X-ray Absorptiometry) measurements are performed with a coverage area for the entire Dalarna region. DXA is an X-ray examination aimed at identifying osteoporosis (bone fragility).
Much has happened in osteoporosis care in recent years. In 2021, National Guidelines for Osteoporosis were introduced, and in 2019, a national care pathway was established.
The position is a temporary post planned to start on February 2, 2026, and continue through February 2027.
Work Tasks
We are seeking someone interested in the organization of bone density measurements. You will work on performing DXA measurements, administrative tasks related to examinations such as referral management and bookings, and also contribute to the continued development of osteoporosis services.
Working hours are Monday-Friday during daytime.
