We are a general medicine department that also offers specialized care for stroke patients. Currently, we have 16 patient beds, with a plan to expand to 24 beds by 2026, so we need to grow our team. The department consists of about 30 employees, and we work in multidisciplinary teams in accordance with national guidelines for stroke care. We are a cheerful and cohesive group striving to constantly improve our care. We value a safe work environment where everyone, both patients and staff, feel involved and satisfied. You will receive support from a senior nurse to help new employees integrate into the work, as well as a coordinator and a discharge nurse to streamline daily tasks.
Your Mission
As a nurse in our department, you will have a varied and educational workday, where you will have the opportunity to work with both stroke care and general internal medicine. You will lead the nursing work and collaborate closely with our nursing assistants in the team. The job requires you to be flexible and able to quickly switch between different tasks.
We offer stroke competence training in collaboration with Umeå University, which is conducted on-site at the hospital. We are also part of the nursing education program at Uppsala University and welcome students from various semesters and professions.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in inpatient care and medicine is advantageous, but we also value your willingness to learn and grow in your role. You are flexible, enjoy collaborating, and have a strong interest in working with people. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
We Offer
We offer a permanent position. As a new employee at Lasarettet in Enköping, you will receive a solid and supportive start to your career.
