Job Description
As a nurse in pulmonary medicine, you will work with advanced medical care in a dynamic and meaningful environment. You will handle everything from chemotherapy to advanced respiratory support such as NIV and CPAP, thoracic drainage—always with the patient’s best interests in mind. You are a key person in the multidisciplinary team and contribute to creating safety and secure care at all stages, from investigation to palliative care. The “lung unit” has 15 beds, divided into three teams, i.e., 5 patients per team.
About You
You are a licensed nurse or a specialist nurse in medical/oncological care and have a genuine interest in lung care and want to develop in this area. You also find it easy to collaborate in a team and are flexible in a changing environment. You want to work in a professional and present team that cares for acutely ill patients around the clock and develop in your professional role in a safe, learning, and welcoming workplace. You are also engaged, want to influence, and develop pulmonary care at a university hospital. You desire to work closely with patients based on a person-centered approach.
