About the Assignment
We are seeking licensed nurses for assignments within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. As a nurse in corrections, you will be providing good and safe care to inmates, in close collaboration with prison staff and other professionals. The assignments can vary in length, depending on your preferences and the needs of the organization.
Responsibilities
• Assessments and reception work with inmates
• Medication management and treatments
• Health conversations and health-promoting activities
• Collaboration with doctors and other healthcare personnel
• Documentation according to applicable procedures
Qualifications
• Licensed nurse
• Experience in psychiatry, addiction treatment, or similar fields is advantageous
• Confident in your professional role, flexible, and capable of meeting individuals in vulnerable situations
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
