**VO Geriatrics-Internal Medicine**

Our operational area includes geriatric and internal medicine inpatient and outpatient care, as well as palliative inpatient care and ASIH (advanced home care). At our clinics, we investigate and treat common major diseases such as cognitive impairment, osteoporosis, diabetes, stroke, and heart diseases. Our clinics also include a Diagnostic Center where patients with unknown primary tumors or unspecified cancer symptoms are evaluated, and a clinic for elderly patients with multiple conditions.
**Nurse for the Heart Clinic**
Are you our new colleague? Do you want to develop within our pleasant team? We have received an expanded mission within the cardiac operation at the clinic and are looking for someone passionate about cardiac care who wants to help us develop it.
**About the Position**
We are seeking a nurse with a focus on cardiology to work in the heart clinic, with rotation within inpatient care in the cardiology department.
The heart clinic is part of the internal medicine clinic, which also includes outpatient services for clinical physiology, endocrinology, COPD, stroke, gastrointestinal issues, the Diagnostic Center, and a medical clinic. You will work together with doctors, nurses, biomedical analysts, and nursing assistants, always keeping the patient at the center of focus.
**Responsibilities**
- Outpatient care, including nurse-led appointments for patients with coronary artery disease, heart disease, and arrhythmias.
- Appointment scheduling and telephone advice via TeleQ.
- Handling of referrals and work with quality registers.
- Teamwork with doctors, nursing assistants, and other professionals.
- Additional tasks that arise at the clinic.
**On the Ward**
As a nurse in the ward, you will work in a team focused on providing excellent care and collaboration. You will lead daily nursing activities, participate in improvement work, and collaborate with the magnet team. You act as the link between outpatient and inpatient care.
**What You Will Receive**
We offer a structured onboarding and training in outpatient work, monitoring systems, and other tasks. You will receive support from nursing leaders, mentors, and experienced colleagues. For those with more experience, there is an opportunity to contribute to development in nursing, quality, documentation, and CPR.
**Personal Qualities**
We value personal maturity, attention to detail, and an ability to collaborate. You are engaged, positive, and attentive to patients' needs, capable of working systematically and prioritizing tasks when necessary. You should be able to work independently and have a strong sense of teamwork. The ability to participate in improvement efforts and to be driven by professional development is an advantage.
**Qualifications**
- Experience in outpatient clinic work.
- Further education in cardiac care.
- Licensed nurse authorized to practice within Swedish healthcare.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in cardiology.

- Full-time, 100% weekend shifts included in shared service.
