The pediatric and adolescent care at Helsingborg Hospital includes the Pediatric Emergency Department, Inpatient Ward for Children and Adolescents, Neonatal Unit, Day Care Unit, and scheduled Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Clinics in Helsingborg, Ängelholm, and Landskrona. We have approximately 300 employees from various professional categories. The Children's and Adolescent Medicine Clinic in Helsingborg is an outpatient clinic for children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. We welcome patients for a variety of care processes such as diabetes, asthma, allergies, neurology, and obesity. Most of our patients have chronic conditions, but some visits may also involve referrals from other healthcare providers for assessment. Our team currently consists of doctors, specialized nurses, nursing assistants, dietitians, social workers, psychologists, and administrative staff. We are open during the day, Monday to Friday. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We now welcome you who wish to work with children and adolescents at the Children's and Adolescent Medicine Clinic in Helsingborg! As a nurse at the clinic in Helsingborg, you will work in a multidisciplinary manner while also managing your own scheduled patient appointments. Additionally, you will plan your consultations independently. This means you need to take significant responsibility for your work and have a flexible approach. We operate in a family-centered manner with the child as our focus. In addition to the overall clinic work, you will also be part of the gastro team and collaborate closely with the day care department. Telephone advice and management of patient cases through 1177 is also part of your working day. We are promoting digital patient visits. The clinic also offers sample collection for our patients, but we can also refer very frightened or difficult-to-draw children to our sampling unit. At our workplace, we are goal-oriented through various improvement initiatives to develop our operations with the patient in focus. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you who are a licensed nurse eligible to work in Swedish healthcare. You also possess Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We consider it an advantage if you have experience working in pediatric and adolescent medicine and knowledge of Melior and PASiS. To thrive in this role and with us, it is important that you are comfortable working both independently and in multidisciplinary teams. You should be responsible and resilient under stress.
