About the position
The Stroke Ward in Solna is part of the Region Stockholm Center for thrombectomy treatment of acute strokes. On the Stroke Ward, we provide highly specialized emergency neurological care in a safe and engaging work environment.
As a nurse with us, you will be part of the entire stroke alarm chain, from ambulance to ward. Here, we provide highly specialized emergency neurological care for stroke patients. Your work will involve monitoring and taking responsibility for patients after thrombectomy. In addition to our stroke mission, we are responsible for providing acute neurological intermediate care for patients with other neurological diseases requiring inpatient emergency care.
The work includes working 2 out of 5 weekends, and we follow Region Stockholm's scheduling agreement for nurses in 24/7 operations. We place great importance on ensuring you feel secure in your role as a nurse, and we want you to enjoy coming to work.
We are looking for someone who:
- Wants to engage with patients in the acute phase, can work independently, is solution-oriented, and enjoys teamwork
- Is motivated to work in an organization undergoing change where you can contribute to care and service development. By planning and prioritizing according to shared goals, you will also develop in your role as a nurse
- Is comfortable with a rapidly changing work environment and understands that tasks need to be reprioritized due to emergencies
- Is flexible and capable of making new decisions
Great emphasis will be placed on personal characteristics.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Licensed nurse
- Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written
Meritorious:
- Experience in emergency care and/or neurology
