Ward 20 belongs to the Psychosis Section and has 15 care beds. We are committed to conveying a humanistic value base and creating a dignified care environment for our patients, where there is time for more person-centered care. Work on the ward takes place in two care teams where nurses and nursing assistants work closely together with patients. We are entering a new era! Stockholm County Healthcare (SLSO) is launching Psychosis Care Stockholm – a newly formed organization that brings together all outpatient clinics and inpatient wards for patients with psychotic disorders within SLSO in a unified operation.
Work Tasks
You will be a patient-responsible nurse. Documentation in the Take Care electronic health record system, medication management, sample collection, and contact with relatives. As a nurse, you have a central role as a work leader and role model in psychiatric care. The work also includes close collaboration with outpatient care. Psychiatry is continuously developing, and NSP always strives for modern and innovative working methods, so participation in the ward's quality and development work is a matter of course for our employees. There are also excellent development opportunities for nurses, such as further education and research.
Qualifications
Registered nurse with a genuine interest in helping people with psychiatric problems in both acute and long-term stages. Previous experience in psychiatric care or specialized psychiatric nursing is meritorious but not required. As a person, you are innovative, flexible, stress-resistant, and responsible. You have good collaboration skills and are loyal to your assignment.
Great importance is placed on personal suitability; introduction will be tailored to individual needs.

For patient-related work within Stockholm County Healthcare:
- Register checks will be applied before employment decision according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for employment register checks.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employment examination through occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to Swedish professional licensing, good Swedish language skills equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) are required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
