At our Oncology Department, we make a difference every day. We are a locum-independent, engaged, and knowledgeable team working to provide high-quality care to cancer patients. We are seeking someone who feels a strong commitment to person-centered care and symptom relief. This is a permanent full-time position with night shift work. Start date to be determined by mutual agreement.
Nurse for Night Shift at Oncology Ward 27b, Sundsvall
Job Responsibilities:
As a nurse in our oncology department, you will:
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with current guidelines.
• Work with symptom management and supportive care for patients in various stages of cancer.
• Meet patients at different stages of their cancer journey, including curative intent, palliative care, and end-of-life care.
• Collaborate with doctors, nursing assistants, and other professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
• Work closely with patients and their families to create security and understanding around the care plan.
• Participate in development work and contribute to improving care in the department.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who:
• Are licensed nurses
