Welcome to us At Serafen, you will be part of a dedicated team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, care aides, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and administrative staff. We work in interdisciplinary teams to ensure that our residents have the best possible conditions for good care. You will work scheduled hours; days, evenings, and weekends (two out of six weekends). We offer Serafen is centrally located just a stone's throw from T-Centralen, near Riddarfjärden and Stockholm City Hall, and is a care and nursing home with 176 places for individuals with cognitive disabilities, somatic, and psychogeriatric focus. Staff is available around the clock, and the vision is for our residents to live a dignified life and feel well-being throughout their lives. Kungsholmen is part of one of Stockholm's four academic nodes that provide evidence-based care and support, where the ambition is for research to be an integrated part of daily work. Your role As a nurse, you will work closely with your team, contributing your specialized skills. Together with your colleagues, you will plan and organize care and work towards providing good health and medical care based on individual needs. You will also play a role in mentoring, educating, and engaging your colleagues. Your skills and experience We are looking for a licensed nurse with experience in care and support. You are confident in your professional role and are eager to share your expertise. You are creative in the sense that you see opportunities instead of obstacles. As a person, you have a good ability to collaborate, communicate, and promote a positive work environment. Furthermore, you work evidence-based, methodically, with a focus on development, and are accustomed to a flexible working approach based on the residents' needs. We seek someone who contributes to a positive atmosphere, takes responsibility, has a good demeanor, and enjoys working with the elderly. To work with the elderly and individuals with disabilities in their homes at the City of Stockholm, you must provide a recent extract from the criminal record. The extract should not be older than six months from the date of issuance. The department for elderly care is responsible for assistance handling as well as various services that enable the elderly to have their care needs met. This includes care and nursing homes, service houses, family support, day activities, and home care. The administration applies full-time as the norm, and you will be employed within Kungsholmen's elderly care.
