Nurses for the resource team

The resource team is now seeking two licensed nurses who want to work broadly across the entire Skellefteå municipality and contribute to close, safe, and person-centered care. YOUR ROLE As a nurse in the resource team, you will experience a daily routine that is both dynamic and meaningful. You will work throughout the municipality and become an important reinforcement in our care and nursing homes or within home care. You will not be the patients' primary contact but will step into ongoing cases and work based on the care plans and assessments made by the regular nurse. This means you will perform interventions, make new assessments as needs arise, and follow up on actions to ensure that the patient receives the right care at the right time. The work involves close collaboration with colleagues in the resource team, other nurses throughout the municipality, and rehabilitation staff. You will also collaborate with care personnel in the facilities where you are scheduled, where each professional group contributes their expertise to create safe and effective care. In this role, you will meet many different people and functions, working in continuous interaction with patients, relatives, and other stakeholders—both within the municipality and the region. Together, you will create the conditions for safe and quality care. Regardless of where you work, support is close at hand, while you also have significant responsibility in executing the tasks. YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE We are looking for a licensed nurse with work experience in the profession. You are confident in your profession and accustomed to independently managing the tasks involved in municipal health and medical care. If you have relevant specialist training, we consider it an asset. In this role, you need to have a genuine interest in collaboration and thrive in an environment where dialogue, participation, and shared responsibility are a natural part of everyday life. At the same time, you have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for your assessments. As a person, you work in a structured and meticulous manner, with the ability to prioritize correctly even when circumstances change. You are stable and considerate in your interactions and possess a pedagogical ability that allows you to create security and understanding in various situations. We believe you will thrive in this role if you are solution-oriented, responsible, and enjoy combining independent work with close teamwork. A B driver's license is a requirement, as is a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. If you can speak Finnish, Sámi, or sign language, it is an advantage in our operations. YOUR NEW WORKPLACE As a nurse in the resource team, you will be based at the relevant workplace when working in the central area. For shifts in the outskirts, you will start and end your day at Tor, a care and nursing home located in central Skellefteå. The position currently primarily involves daytime work, but evening and weekend shifts are included, and night shifts may occur. Our priority is to be available and work preventively when patients need us the most.
