We are currently seeking two nurses for Bureå. One position is primarily located in home care, while the other combines work in home care and residential care facilities.
There is an opportunity to be based in Bureå or central Skellefteå, depending on what suits you best.

YOUR ROLE
As a nurse in Bureå, you'll become part of a tight-knit team with experienced and committed colleagues. Together, you'll provide primary healthcare services in patients' homes – both in standard residential settings and care facilities. You'll have a varied and meaningful job where you can utilize your skills and contribute to safe, high-quality care in patients' home environments.
You will independently assess, plan, execute, and follow up on healthcare interventions for patients aged 18 and above. The work is mobile and autonomous, often requiring you to take initiative and prioritize various interventions. You'll collaborate closely with patients, family members, colleagues, and other key stakeholders – both within the municipality and region – to create the best possible conditions for safe and quality care.
We collaborate closely within our respective areas, which means you might occasionally need to provide services outside your primary placement.
We believe in trust, dialogue, and good relationships as the foundation for successful care, giving you influence over your schedule and the opportunity to balance work and personal life. Currently, the position involves working every sixth weekend and approximately four evening shifts during a six-week period. Please note that this may change over time.
YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE
You are a licensed nurse, or soon to be licensed, and preferably have nursing work experience. Strong subject expertise and a willingness to continuously develop within your professional area are crucial for success in this role. Completed specialist training in relevant areas is considered advantageous.
We believe you'll excel if you are independent, proactive, and responsible. You work carefully and systematically, have an eye for detail, and are stable and confident in your approach – meaning you can remain calm and prioritize effectively in a rapidly changing and challenging work environment. As a person, you are pedagogical and considerate in your interactions and enjoy working closely in a team. A B driver's license is required.
For this position, you need excellent communication skills in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Since Skellefteå Municipality is a Finnish and Sami administrative municipality, proficiency in Finnish or Sami is considered meritorious. Knowledge of sign language is also viewed as an asset.
