Do you want to be part of developing services that make a difference for children and young people? BUP Stockholm is seeking two nurses for our new Health and Medical Care Team.
Starting in January 2026, BUP Stockholm will participate in a pilot project in collaboration with the City of Stockholm. This three-year project involves establishing a team that will provide child and adolescent psychiatric health and medical care services within the City of Stockholm's HVB operations. We are initially looking for two nurses with experience in medical management responsibility; one of you will also serve as the project manager during the project period.
**Job Responsibilities**
Your primary responsibilities will include building and implementing structures for medication management and delegation in accordance with current legislation and regulations. The role also involves motivating children and young people to seek and accept psychiatric services, as well as assisting in communication with other health and medical care providers. You will mentor and support residential facilities to ensure and follow up on patient safety and quality.
**Qualifications**
Applicants should be a licensed nurse with experience in medical management responsibility within similar operations. You should be well-versed in and have experience with what is required to build up the services. Experience in project management and leadership is an advantage.

BUP Stockholm provides specialized psychiatric care for children and young people aged 0 to 17 within Stockholm County. We are part of the Stockholm County Healthcare Region (SLSO), which is a healthcare provider within the Stockholm Region. Together, we are approximately 1,000 employees who meet over 22,000 children, young people, and their families each year. The position will be filled provided it is not needed for internal relocation, according to applicable regulations.
For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region:
- A background check will be conducted prior to employment decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during hiring.
- Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, as per current directives, which is conducted by occupational health services before employment.
- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
