We are currently seeking two nurses to join our team in the Centrum Norr area, with placement at Dammens or Klockarhöjdens care and nursing home. YOUR ROLE As a nurse at Dammens or Klockarhöjdens care and nursing home, you will be an important part of a multidisciplinary team that works together to provide high-quality care in the patient's home. You will be responsible for independently assessing, planning, executing, and following up on health and medical interventions for patients aged 18 and above. Your work will be mobile and varied, and you are often expected to take initiative and prioritize between different tasks. With us, you will collaborate broadly – with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other key stakeholders both within and outside our organization. Together with the region, which is an important partner, we create the conditions for safe and quality care. In the area, we collaborate closely, so there may be tasks outside your regular placement – with patients in regular housing or at other care and nursing homes within the area. We believe in trust, dialogue, and good relationships as the foundation for successful care, giving you influence over your schedule and the opportunity to plan your working hours with a balance between work and leisure. Currently, the position involves working every sixth weekend and approximately four evening shifts during a six-week period. Please note that this may change over time. YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE You are a licensed nurse, or soon to be licensed, and preferably have experience working as a nurse. A solid subject competence and a willingness to continuously develop within your professional field are important for your success in the role. If you also have completed specialist training in relevant areas, it is an advantage. We believe you will thrive in the role if you are independent, proactive, and responsible. You work meticulously and systematically, have an eye for detail, and are stable and secure in your working methods — meaning you can remain calm and prioritize correctly even in a rapidly changing and challenging work environment. As a person, you are pedagogical and considerate in your interactions and enjoy working closely in a team. A valid driver's license (B) is required. For the position, you need to have good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Since Skellefteå Municipality is a Finnish and Sámi administrative municipality, we consider it an advantage if you can speak Finnish or Sámi. Additionally, if you know sign language, we see it as an asset in our operations.
