As a nurse with us, you will have a varied and meaningful work experience when meeting patients with different needs – from short-term acute interventions to long-term treatment.
You will work both independently and in close collaboration with your team, which consists of nurses, doctors, nursing assistants, and counselors. Work tasks include leadership, medication management, psychiatric care, assessments, documentation, and supportive conversations. You will also actively contribute to a positive work environment.
We want to succeed together in our mission, and to do so, we work with close collaboration within inpatient care, which consists of a psychiatric intensive care unit and two inpatient departments.

The position is located in Kalmar, adult psychiatry inpatient care department two, with working hours during the day, evening, and weekends, with dedicated night staff.
About You
You are a licensed nurse with a passion for psychiatry. Previous work experience in psychiatric care is meritorious.
As a person, you see the value of building and maintaining good relationships with patients and colleagues, which is a key factor for effective collaboration and problem-solving.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to express yourself clearly and adapt your language and message to the recipient and situation.

Your Future Workplace
You will work in newly built and modern facilities specially adapted for specialist psychiatry. These facilities promote efficient coordination within psychiatric services and offer a pleasant environment for you, with spacious staff areas and a beautiful view of Kalmar Sound and Öland. We are a clinic with 37 care places and approximately 230 employees, including 5 resident physicians and 15 specialist physicians. We have three inpatient care departments, three outpatient clinics, and three treatment units.
