About this role
Make a difference. Every day.
Is a patient-centered focus and an empathetic approach second nature to you? Do you want to develop as a nurse and as a person? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
Ward 83 is a general psychiatric inpatient unit with 17 beds, specializing in patients with affective disorders. We care for patients under the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act (LPT). Our patients are of varying ages and have different diagnoses, often in an acute phase when they come to us.
On our ward, we have a team working during the day, including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, peer support (patient supporters), a unit manager, and team leaders. We operate based on a cognitive approach, and the psychiatric care consists of a combination of medical, psychological, and social interventions. Our treatment is characterized by well-established scientific methods.
You will join a safe workplace with a strong and committed team focused on the best interests of the patient and a positive work environment.
