Östhammar Health Center Our 1,800 employees work with close care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary care. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within habilitation, and we provide advice over the phone via 1177. We offer a full-time temporary position from January 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026. There is an opportunity to adjust the working hours according to needs and preferences. Your Mission Your role as a nurse will involve varied work. This includes assessing and assisting patients through telephone advice and chat, as well as in direct meetings during planned consultations, home visits, and working with acutely ill patients. We actively work to improve patient flows through triage and booking for all professions. There is an opportunity for some remote work. Your Qualifications You who are applying must be a licensed nurse; experience in primary care is an advantage. We are looking for someone who is positive, has a flexible working style, and a good ability to collaborate with others in the team. We place great importance on your ability and willingness to develop the operations together with the staff at the health center. Personal qualities are highly valued. Our Operations Östhammar Health Center is located in the coastal town of Östhammar. Here, there are around a thousand islands and a rich cultural landscape with several well-preserved ironworks and manors. We have just over 6,500 registered patients and 30 employees.
