**Description**
The Olskroken Addiction Clinic is part of PBÖ - Psychiatry Addiction Outpatient Care and is organized in a matrix structure along with the Hisingen Addiction Clinic and the Resource Clinic for addiction.
We cater to individuals over 18 years old with severe substance dependence, with or without psychiatric comorbidity. The clinic offers coordinated interventions based on the patient's needs and a cross-professional approach, where the perspective of children is also an important part of the work.
We provide, among other things, pharmacological treatment, psychosocial and psychological therapy, assessments, as well as occupational therapy and rehabilitation coordination services. A significant portion of the psychological and psychosocial treatment interventions are conducted in groups based on a stepwise treatment process. Collaboration with other actors plays a central role. The clinic employs doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, and administrators, and through close cooperation with the Resource Clinic for addiction, we have access to psychologists, occupational therapists, and a rehabilitation coordinator, as well as F-ACT interventions.
**Responsibilities**
Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to a cohesive care chain for the patient. You will perform pharmacological treatments, initiate and follow up on medications, as well as conduct tests both individually and in the clinic's medication reception. You will carry out MI (Motivational Interviewing) and care plan conversations to support drug-free living, as well as network work with the patient’s relatives and professional networks. We also actively collaborate with inpatient care during admission and discharge processes to create a smooth transition, ensuring a shared understanding of the patient’s needs and involvement. You will meet with patients individually, but this may also occur in groups. You will also serve as the primary care contact for patients, meaning you will be the patient's main point of contact at the clinic.
We work based on an MI-oriented approach, regardless of profession, and ongoing training in this area is provided, along with supervision from your colleagues. The work is varied and developmental!
**Qualifications**
We are looking for a licensed nurse. Experience in addiction care and/or psychiatry is an advantage, as is previous work with harm reduction interventions.
You have an interest in working integratively and flexibly with patients who have substance dependence and psychiatric comorbidity. The work requires personal maturity and a flexible approach, as well as a desire to contribute to the development of the organization. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively towards common goals, as we are constantly striving to change and improve.
As the work necessitates good teamwork for the benefit of the patient, it is important to communicate and collaborate with other staff members, both internally and externally. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
We value a work environment based on engagement, a positive attitude, curiosity, and interest. Here, you will find a friendly team with a non-prestigious work climate where you can always ask each other for help when needed!
Warm welcome to submit your application!
