About this role
Department 16 is a general psychiatric inpatient care unit that belongs to the Psychiatry Northwest clinic.
The department primarily focuses on depression, anxiety, and personality disorders, but we also care for patients with various other psychiatric and social issues. Comorbidity is common. We have 16 beds, one of which is designated for voluntary admissions. We accept patients who are over 18 years old. The department is centrally located in Kungsholmen, with good access to public transport.

Job Responsibilities:
Standard duties as a licensed nurse within psychiatric inpatient care. In the department, we work in care teams consisting of nurses and nursing assistants, where you, as a nurse, will lead your team. You will have overall responsibility for psychiatric and somatic care and are expected to prioritize and delegate tasks. You will be ultimately responsible for medication management and nursing documentation. We use Take Care as our medical record system.
Employment Type:
Hourly employment during the day, evening, and/or night according to your preferences and the needs of the operation. If you are interested in working more shifts than we can offer or are curious about working in other departments within Psychiatry Northwest, there is an opportunity to work in our neighboring department (Department 18) as well as other psychiatric departments at Danderyd Hospital.
Qualifications:
You have a Swedish nursing license and a genuine interest in psychiatry. As a person, you are positive, solution-focused, unpretentious, and have an easy time collaborating. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement. We prefer candidates with experience in psychiatric care. Personal suitability is highly valued.

- In addition to a Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language at a level corresponding to C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
