The Psychosis Area in Malmö/Trelleborg is tasked with providing effective psychosis care through respectful interactions to enable a better life for individuals with psychosis. Within outpatient and inpatient care, we assess, investigate, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate patients with diagnoses such as schizophrenia, delusional symptoms, schizoaffective disorders, and other conditions where psychosis development is suspected. The Psychosis Area offers psychiatric interventions for individuals with psychosis-related issues. We take a holistic view of mental health, based on a combination of medical, psychological, and social interventions.
The Psychosis Area consists of four outpatient clinics and three units providing inpatient care. Ward 88 is an inpatient ward with 13 beds for patients with psychotic disorders and disabilities, as well as first-time psychosis patients. Here, patients are treated voluntarily but also under the Psychiatric Compulsory Care Act (LPT).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer an engaging and exciting job with colleagues who have extensive experience in psychosis care. You will have a developing role, both professionally and personally, where opportunities for growth and focus are guided by the needs of our patients and their relatives. As a nurse, you will be responsible for the care of our patients and participate in medication management, assessment, and documentation in our journal systems. Care is provided in collaboration with the unit’s outpatient clinics, other units in the hospital, and the municipality. Nursing documentation is conducted in the Melior system, following the VIPS model.

QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome both newly graduated and experienced licensed nurses with the qualifications to work within Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you must have language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. A background in psychiatry and experience working with various operational systems are considered advantageous.
