About the Position As a nurse at Västerpark, you will be part of a team including nurses, occupational therapists, care staff, and unit managers. On evenings and weekends, you will also collaborate with other healthcare and care facilities, which will provide you with a broader network of nursing colleagues. At Västerpark, we focus on somatic care and cognitive impairment, and as the care coordinator for some of our residents, you will work closely with primary care physicians. Example Duties: • Decide, implement, and follow up on care measures • Guide and instruct care staff in healthcare tasks • Responsible for clinical assessment and medical interventions • Contact and support relatives • Document in our operational systems to ensure safe patient care • Develop work methods and approaches within the operation together with the team About the Workplace Västerpark is a healthcare and social care facility opened on September 1, 2022. It has 80 rental apartments across four floors, with three focused on cognitive impairment and one on somatic care. The facility is centrally located in Väster, approximately 2 km from Örebro Central Station. As a nurse at Västerpark, you will be part of the Healthcare Organization (HS), which brings together all nurses and occupational therapists from the municipality's healthcare and social care facilities under one organization. This enables us to create better conditions, provide equitable care, and protect Örebro Municipality's healthcare resources. For you as a nurse, this also means having a manager who is fundamentally licensed and thus well-versed in the issues you face at work. Qualifications As a nurse, you are confident and self-aware. You take responsibility for your tasks independently and systematically and enjoy having your own areas of responsibility. Being responsive and accommodating in your approach, both to colleagues and residents, is a given. You communicate clearly and can ensure information is effectively transmitted. Additionally, you adapt easily to changing circumstances, prioritize your work, and see opportunities in changes. You must also have a good command of the Swedish language to communicate with residents and staff, and document as required by the operation. As the work involves digital documentation in operational systems, good computer skills are essential. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: • Licensed nurse • B driver's license (manual transmission) Preferred: • Experience as a nurse in municipal healthcare • Further education in geriatrics or district nursing • Experience with MCSS, NPÖ, Pascal, Lifecare HSL, Senior Alert, BPSD register, and palliative registry Scope and Commencement Employment Type: Permanent position Work Percentage: 100% Start Date: By agreement Number of Positions: 1 Working Hours: Day, evening, and one weekend every six weeks Additional Information Interviews may be conducted digitally.
