About this role

Do you want to work in a dedicated team where you can develop, experience job satisfaction, and make a real difference - every day? Then you are warmly welcome to the Urology Clinic in Västerås! Job Responsibilities Something is always happening here! As a nurse with us, you'll have a varied, meaningful, and developmental job where you meet both planned and acute patients. One moment you'll be preparing someone for surgery - the next you'll be caring for a patient with an acute medical condition. You are responsible for care, medication management, and patient safety - but above all, for creating good days for both patients and colleagues. We work together - nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, discharge planners, surgery planners, managers, and receptionists - in a fantastic team where we support, laugh, and solve things together. Every day we take time for daily reflection and work according to the Green Cross and Loop methods to continuously improve and create a safe and sustainable work environment. Here you'll get the chance to develop, think innovatively, and make a real difference. Welcome to a job where heart, teamwork, and pace go hand in hand! About the Workplace The Urology Clinic is a small, committed clinic with great development opportunities. We work closely in teams and have an open climate where everyone knows each other. Our manager believes in freedom with responsibility and coaching leadership - and our excellent results in employee surveys show that it works. For us, it's important that you feel good and enjoy your job, so we offer you: • Tailored introduction program to help you feel confident and secure in your professional role • Opportunities for skills development through internal training • A workplace adaptable to different life stages, with flexible working hours within certain frameworks • Free training at our fully equipped gym • Wellness allowance of 3000 SEK/year More about your benefits can be found here: https://regionvastmanland.se/jobba-med-oss/dina-formaner/ Curious? Feel free to contact us if you want to schedule an informal conversation where we can tell you more. Or would you like to come and observe our work and see the facilities? Contact us, and we'll arrange it! Qualifications We're looking for a licensed nurse - both newly graduated and experienced candidates are welcome to apply. Previous experience in similar operations is meritorious. The role requires communication with patients, relatives, and colleagues, so excellent Swedish language skills are required. Additional language skills are a plus. As a person, you are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. Since work can quickly change in various ways, you need to be flexible and able to maintain calm and focus in new situations. You have a good ability to structure your own work and take responsibility for your tasks. We work in teams and see collaboration and clarity as crucial ingredients for success. Since we work closely with patients and relatives, empathy is a key ingredient in your daily work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment Terms Permanent employment, full-time Working hours: day/evening/weekend (rotation service) Start date by agreement Application Welcome with your application by December 4, 2025 • When applying, only attach your CV and relevant certificates/credentials • You will also be asked to answer several questions as part of our selection assessment • We do not use cover letters in our recruitment process More about the region's recruitment process and how to create a good CV can be found here: Applying for a Job in Region Västmanland Interviews may occur continuously, so don't wait to submit your application!
