About the position
Our department is a trauma, acute surgical, and orthopedic care unit whose mission is to be part of the Stockholm Region's Trauma Center. We care for severely injured and acutely ill patients. Given the highly specialized mission we have, the value of the team is even more important. We also have a small KUA with 6 care beds where we manage elective orthopedics, making the work varied.
We have a diverse patient category, which means we need to be attentive and receptive to all patients' differences and their needs. The staff has significant influence in the organization, as they hold the answers since they are closest to the patients.
As a nurse with us, you will work with medically advanced nursing care in the form of monitoring and medical technology. You will lead the nursing work in the team, plan for, guide, and actively care for patients. You will participate in rounds, manage medications, and assess in agreement with the patient their nursing needs.
Work on the unit occurs around the clock, and the position involves day/evening/night and weekend shifts.
We are looking for someone who:

- Is flexible, confident in acute situations, and can quickly adapt to changing work methods and new priorities

- Wants to be involved in developing and continuously improving the organization in the pursuit of safe and high-quality care.
