Night Shift Nurse

Organizational Description Healthcare is organized in a joint Home Care Department responsible for services performed by nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists in both ordinary and special housing. A 24/7 operation. We are a team that works closely together to provide our patients with good and safe care. Job Responsibilities As a licensed nurse working night shifts, you and a colleague will be responsible for healthcare services in care and nursing homes, ordinary housing, and our disability and psychiatric housing facilities. The assignment includes coordinating good care and support where you are part of the team around the individual and their relatives. The role also involves mentoring the work team. You will work together with a colleague during the night shift but are part of a larger group of 25 nurses. During the night, you and your colleague will start the shift from the same location. Most work tasks involve urgent interventions received via telephone from care and support personnel, with some planned interventions as well. Qualifications Licensed nurse, with additional training relevant to the assignment or similar work experience being advantageous. Ability to work independently and collaborate in a group is important. You should be solution-oriented and able to see the overall picture of the operation. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. B driver's license required. Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare municipality is an administrative municipality for Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is meritorious when applying for employment in Gällivare municipality.
